DoseToData ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DoseToData mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Health & Wellness Data: DoseToData stores the health information you choose to log, including daily check-in responses (such as mood, energy, focus, anxiety, and custom questions), medication names, doses, start dates, and adherence records. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you have an active subscription, synced to your personal iCloud account.

Subscription Information: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect your Apple App Store receipt data and a pseudonymous device identifier to verify and manage your subscription status. We do not receive your payment card details.

Device Information: We may collect basic device type and OS version information for compatibility and crash reporting purposes.

Notification Tokens: If you enable reminders, we store a device token to deliver local notifications for check-in and medication reminders. These tokens are not shared with third parties for marketing.

2. How We Use Your Information

To store and display your health tracking data within the app
To sync your data across your own devices via iCloud (subscribers only)
To manage your subscription and verify access to premium features
To send medication and check-in reminders (if enabled)
To provide trends, insights, and adherence summaries
To respond to your support requests and feedback
To detect and fix bugs and technical issues

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information or your health data. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your data may be processed by the following third-party services:

iCloud (Apple): If you have an active subscription, your tracking data is synced through Apple's iCloud infrastructure under your own Apple ID. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
RevenueCat: Subscription status and App Store receipt data are processed by RevenueCat to verify your purchase. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

4. Health Data

DoseToData is designed to keep your health data private. All health and medication data you enter is stored on your device and optionally in your personal iCloud account — it is never uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. Data synced via iCloud is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your data.

6. Your Rights

View and delete your tracking data at any time within the app
Disable notifications at any time through your device settings
Cancel your subscription at any time through the App Store
Request deletion of any data associated with your device by contacting us

7. Data Retention

Your health data lives on your device (and iCloud, if enabled) and persists until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app. To request permanent deletion of any associated data, contact us and we will process your request within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

DoseToData is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
